Meet Choo
Co-Founder & People Fin Behind Sparkle Shark
With more than 13 years’ experience as a Registered Manager, Choo brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and real-life experience to Sparkle Shark.
Care has been a huge part of Choo’s life, both professionally and academically. Over the years, she has worked alongside people from all walks of life, learning that great support isn’t simply about getting a job done - it’s about understanding the person behind it.
Choo has also gone on to establish two successful domiciliary care companies, giving her a strong understanding of what it takes to build a service that people can trust.
But Sparkle Shark was created to be something a little different.
Choo wanted to bring the values she has always believed in - respect, kindness, dignity, independence and genuine human connection - into an everyday service that is about making life that little bit easier.
From a spotless home to a completed shopping trip, a mountain of laundry finally conquered or simply having someone friendly around, Choo believes that the small things can make a surprisingly big difference.
Alongside James, Choo has created Sparkle Shark with a simple belief;

Co-Founder & Creative Fin Behind Sparkle Shark
James is one half of the team behind Sparkle Shark - bringing together creativity, practical experience and, most importantly, a genuine understanding of people.
With a background in graphic design, care and cleaning, James has developed a unique mix of skills that has helped bring Sparkle Shark to life. His creative eye gives the business its personality, while his experience working with people has taught him the importance of patience, kindness, respect and simply listening. James has worked in the field and enjoyed being able to bring his experiences into Sparkle Shark knowing that he is able to continue supporting individuals in their own homes.
James understands that no two people, or two homes, are the same.
Whether he’s making sure a home is beautifully clean, helping someone tackle their everyday to-do list or simply taking the time to have a conversation, James believes the little things matter.
It’s this combination of creativity, care and practical know-how that sits at the heart of Sparkle Shark.
